My favorite top-tier sushi bar in town. Chef Masato Shimizu is true master of sushi. Unlike many other top sushi chef in NYC, he is very friendly and fluent in English.
Sushi bar 101: please make sure you sit at bar, not table. To enjoy the best sushi, you must interact with chef. Also just do omakase unless you really know sushi well. Omakase means you just give chef a rough idea what you like to spend and he will choose best ingredients for the day.
