Totto Ramen
Ah, the famous Totto Ramen. What I can say about this place?
Well, I was frequent guest there. I can still remember one of its main chef’s funny look (鸟人大叔). But that was when it filled up with locals. American (or Asian American) seem to have ramen fever: line for Totto Ramen could get ridiculous long – think hours, rain or shine (no, they don’t have inner space for line).
I have no problem with Totto’s quality. It is still one of the tastiest Ramen place in town. However, I wouldn’t wait a hour for any ramen. Eating ramen suppose to be a quick & satisfying process.
If you really want to try it, be there early (like half hour before opening) and have smallest group possible.
